1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "Passenger," or "you") and EasyBus UAE ("EasyBus," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our website, booking our services, or traveling with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Service Description

EasyBus UAE provides bus transportation services throughout the United Arab Emirates. Our services include:

• Scheduled intercity bus services
• Airport transfer services
• Charter and private bus rentals
• Corporate transportation services

3. Booking and Reservations

3.1 Booking Process

Bookings can be made through our website, mobile app, or authorized agents. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

3.2 Payment

Payment must be made at the time of booking using accepted payment methods. All prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

3.3 Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation email or SMS from us. You must present valid identification and your booking confirmation when boarding.

4. Passenger Responsibilities

4.1 Identification

Passengers must carry valid government-issued identification during travel. Non-UAE residents must carry their passport and valid visa.

4.2 Arrival Time

Passengers must arrive at the departure point at least 15 minutes before scheduled departure time for regular services and 30 minutes for airport transfers.

4.3 Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited on our buses:

• Weapons, explosives, or hazardous materials
• Illegal substances
• Flammable liquids or gases
• Animals (except certified service animals)
• Items that may disturb other passengers

4.4 Conduct

Passengers must:

• Behave respectfully towards other passengers and staff
• Follow all safety instructions
• Keep noise levels to a minimum
• Maintain cleanliness
• Comply with UAE laws and regulations

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Customer Cancellations

• More than 24 hours before departure: Full refund minus processing fee (AED 10)
• 6-24 hours before departure: 50% refund
• Less than 6 hours before departure: No refund
• No-show: No refund

5.2 EasyBus Cancellations

If we cancel a service due to circumstances within our control, we will provide:

• Full refund, or
• Alternative transportation at no extra cost, or
• Rebooking on the next available service

6. Delays and Service Disruptions

6.1 Our Responsibility

While we strive for punctuality, we are not liable for delays caused by:

• Traffic conditions
• Weather conditions
• Road closures or construction
• Government actions or regulations
• Force majeure events

6.2 Missed Connections

We are not responsible for missed connections, appointments, or other consequential losses due to delays.

7. Baggage Policy

7.1 Allowance

• One carry-on bag (max 7kg)
• One checked bag (max 20kg) for intercity services
• Additional fees apply for excess baggage

7.2 Liability

We are liable for lost or damaged baggage up to AED 500 per passenger, provided the loss or damage occurs while in our custody.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law:

• Our total liability is limited to the ticket price paid
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
• We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted or error-free

9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, strikes, or other force majeure events.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and marketing materials, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is our property or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Dubai, UAE.

13. Age Restrictions

• Children under 2: Travel for no charge on parent's lap (no separate seat)
• Children 2-12: Must have their own seat; discounted fare may apply
• Unaccompanied minors: Children under 16 cannot travel alone

14. Special Assistance

We provide assistance for passengers with disabilities or special needs. Please inform us at the time of booking so we can make appropriate arrangements.

15. Complaint Procedure

If you have a complaint about our services:

1. Contact our customer service team within 7 days of travel
2. Provide your booking reference and details of the issue
3. We will investigate and respond within 14 days
4. If unsatisfied, you may escalate to UAE transport authorities

16. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
